This is a beautiful modern love story about Kabir and Elara. Kabir is a sound artist from Mumbai and Elara is a visual illustrator from Amsterdam. They live thousands of miles apart in different time zones. Instead of sending fast text messages they build a deep connection by writing long letters to each other every week. They share their lives through art and music.
One day a big storm cuts off the network in Mumbai. Kabir goes offline for days. This sudden silence makes them realize that they are deeply in love. To bring their worlds together they start working on a special creative project named The Echo of Paper Planes.
The story reaches its beautiful climax at the Amsterdam airport. After months of waiting Kabir flies across the world. When they finally meet and hug each other for the first time the huge distance between them completely disappears. It shows that true love is not about being close physically but about two minds finding a home in each other.
